I'm a sophomore at Bucknell University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Marketing, Innovations & Development. I'm an active member of Chabad of Lewisburg and compete on Bucknell's Men's Club Squash team, which recently won a national championship.
My biomedical interests focus on advanced prosthesis development and non-surgical medical devices. Through courses like Sustainable Medical Technology in Low-Middle Income Countries (ENGR100), I've developed a strong foundation in designing practical solutions for resource-constrained environments. I'm driven by the idea that good healthcare design doesn't need to be expensive or complicated it just needs to solve real problems for the people who need it most.
Over the past summer, a close friend and I started a mobile auto detailing and power washing business. We started by going door to door for customers and grew entirely by word of mouth. It taught me a lot about running operations, managing time, and delivering quality work consistently. It also showed me the value of direct customer feedback and how to adapt on the fly when something isn't working. While it's different from biomedical work, the entrepreneurial hustle and problem-solving mindset carry over.
I'm interested in roles where I can apply technical skills and entrepreneurial thinking to solve real healthcare problems, especially in resource-limited settings. I want to build devices and solutions that actually get used, that are affordable to manufacture and maintain, and that make a measurable difference in people's lives.
